Issue:

The green dotted line for polar tracking is always displayed when drawing a rectangle or other entities. 

Causes:

The reason is that the Increment Angle of Polar Tracking in the Drafting Settings is set too small.

For example, it's set as 1 degree. So basically, no matter how the cursor moves while drawing, it will trigger the polar tracking with green dotted line.

Solution:

  1. Right-click the Polar Tracking icon in the status bar and select Settings, open the Drafting Settings dialog box.
  2. Set the value of Increment Angle according to your need, so that the polar tracking will only be performed when the Increment Angle is satisfied.
