Issue:
After the installation of ZWCAD is finished, an error message “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application” occurs while launching the software
Causes:
The VC++ components fail to be installed or the VC++ components of the operating system are abnormal.
Solution:
- Right-click the installation package and extract it (if there is no extract application on the computer, just install one).
- Follow the figure below, and open the Prerequisites file folder in the extracted package, which contains the installation package for VC++ components.
- Double-click the VC++ components installation package to install them. If multiple VC++ components exist, install them one by one. After the installation is complete, try to launch ZWCAD again.
Note:
In some cases, it’s because there is something wrong with the VC++ components that are already installed on the computer. Please uninstall them in the control panel, then use the files in the ZWCAD installation package to install them according to the steps above described.
