Due to differences in hardware environments, some GPUs may not be able to enable the Hardwareacceleration feature in ZWCAD.

How can a specific GPU be unlocked to resolve this issue?

Solution:

ZWCAD includes a built-in configuration file named GPUUnsupportList.ini to protect the software from unstable display behavior or compatibility issues caused by certain low-performance GPUs.

By modifying specific entries in this file, users can remove GPU restrictions and enable the Hardwareacceleration feature.

  1. Navigate to the ZWCAD installation directory and locate the GPUUnsupportList.ini file.
  2. Open the file with Notepad.

  3. Under the following sections:
    [SupportMinVersion]
    [UnSupportGpuSetions]
    [UnSupportGpuLists]
    Delete the corresponding entries related to the target GPU.
    Take the UHD 630 GPU as an example:



  4. Save the file and restart ZWCAD.
    Hardware acceleration should now be available.



Note:
Users may also directly delete the GPUUnsupportList.ini file to unlock all GPU types.
However, this operation may lead to unexpected display or stability issues on unsupported GPUs.
The recommended solution is still to upgrade the hardware configuration and avoid using low-performance integrated GPUs whenever possible.
