Issue: 

After many years of use, the activated license needs to be transferred to a new computer. However, the license code has been forgotten, how to proceed with the transfer?

Solution:

  1. Open Start → All Programs → ZWCAD → License Manager.
    Alternatively, open ZWCAD, click Help → License Management from the menu bar to open the License Manager, then select Return License.

  2. Select Offline Return, then click Generate to create the request file.

  3. Open the generated file using Notepad. Locate <Key>EntitlementId</Key>.
    The license number will be shown on the next line.

Note:
After generating the offline return file, the license number can be used only after the return process is completed. For details, refer to: ★How to return ZWCAD stand-alone license offline?.
