Issue:

An error message appears when launching the software:

Detected that the system component (.Net Framework) on which the program depends is abnormal, and the software cannot be started.

Causes:

The .NET Framework version required is abnormal, resulting in startup failure.

Solution:

For Windows 7 SP1: Uninstall the existing .NET Framework via Control Panel. Extract the ZWCAD installation package and install .NET 4.7 included in ZWCAD's package.

For Windows 10/11: Repair the built-in .NET Framework components by the following steps:

  1. Launch Command Prompt as administrator and run the command: sfc /scannow.
  2. Search for Check for updates in the system, then install online system updates to repair .NET components.
  3. If ZWCAD worked normally before but failed today, check whether system updates were installed today in Update history. Uninstall the updates if any.
