Issue:
In CAD drawing, it is sometimes necessary to draw lines at an angle, such as when creating isometric drawings or system diagrams. An angle can be entered during drawing, but what if an entire set of graphics is at an angle, or if there are many lines with the same angle? Can the crosshairs be rotated?
Solution:
Method 1:
Start the CAD software. The command SNAPANG is entered in the command line and confirmed with Enter.
A value can be entered directly to rotate the crosshairs to any angle.
Method 2:
Open the CAD software. Drafting Settings is opened from the Tools menu.
In the Sketch Settings window, Snap and Grid → Snap type → Isometric snap is selected.
After the settings are completed, the crosshairs are tilted. The direction can be switched by pressing F5.
