Issue:

The file cannot be opened in ZWCAD, and ZWDAD prompts The specified drawing file can't be found, please make sure that the file exists, as shown in the figure below.

Cause:

The reason for this situation is that the drawings are stored in the network disk, and ZWCAD shortcut is set to Run this program as an administrator.

Solution:

  1. Right-click the desktop icon of ZWCAD, click Properties and find the Compatibility option, uncheck Run this program as an administrator, and click OK as shown in the figure below.
  2. Restart ZWCAD to open the drawing.
