How to engrave letters on a cylindrical surface?

Solution:

1. Create a sketch on the reference plane at the center of the cylinder.
2. Click the Ready Sketch Text command and enter some letters.
   
3. Click the Wrap on Face command in Wireframe and set up as shown in the figure.
   
4. Click the Inlay command in Shape.
5. Select the cylindrical surface in Faces F and box select the letters in Curves C.
6. Enter a Offset value and click OK.
