★How to link Mtext and Excel table data in ZWCAD

Issue: 

When the data in Excel changes, the data in the MTEXT in ZWCAD also changes at the same time, how should it be realized?

Solution:

1. Click the Ribbon menu Annotate → Table (TABLE command) to bring up the Insert Table dialog box, and check From a Data Link, click Launch the Datalink Manager Dialog button and click Create a new Excel data link, give a new name and click OK
   
2. Select the Excel table to be associated with and click OK.
   
3. Then the Excel table has been imported in ZWCAD
   
4. Click the Ribbon Menu Annotate → Multiline Text (MTEXT command), Right-click, select Insert Field
   
5. Then select Object → Formula → Cell in the dialog box, Click the table cell you want to associate with and click OK to complete the content association
   
6. Modify and save the Excel data. At this time, the ZWCAD will prompt "Data link has Changed", click Update tables using data link..., and the table in ZWCAD will be updated.
   
7. Click the Ribbon menu View → Regen (REGEN command), and the multi-line text will be updated 
   

Note:

This method only works for the Numbers in the Excel table.
