Issue:
Why are the masses of certain mold components missing from the 3D BOM?
Causes:
These components are designated as pockets. Since Set Pocket functions solely as cutting tools to create the mold cavity, they are excluded from mass calculations.
Solution:
Please configure the pocket based on actual model and design requirements.
If mass calculation is required:
- Click Tools → Set Pocket via the button in the bottom right corner of Library.
- Select the corresponding entity, Delete product and click OK.
- After re-running the 3D BOM calculation, the mass is now displayed.
Note: Components such as mold cooling loops were not modeled, hence no mass properties could be calculated.
