★★ZWCAD can not open the DWG file by double-clicking it

Issue:

When opening the DWG file by double-clicking it, an error message "There was a Problem Sending the Command to the Program" occurs, or the software is launched normally, but the file is not opened. In addition, the way that drags the DWG file into ZWCAD can not open either. The file can only be opened by launching the software and selecting it with the open command.

Causes:

After the installation of ZWCAD, it's advised to run as an administrator for the first time to launch so that the software has permission to configure basic information. After that, ZWCAD does not need to run as an administrator. If this option is checked in the properties, it needs to be removed, otherwise, it will affect the double-click on the drawing to open.

Solution:

1. Right-click the ZWCAD icon to open the Properties window.
2. Click to switch to the Compatibility tab
3. Make sure that the option Run this program as Administrator is not checked
4. Click OK and restart the software. You can open the DWG file by double-clicking it or dragging it into the program.
   
5. If the issue still exists, you can right-click on the DWG file, then click Open with and select ZwLauncher.exe as default app.
