How to use layout functions to split large drawings into smaller views for layout and printing in industries such as planning and municipal engineering?

Solution:

1. Copy the inner border of the standard title block and use it as the viewport border. Adjust its position.
   
   
   
2. Copy and paste the title block into the layout space.
   
   
   

3. Enter the MV shortcut, select the inner border area, and create a viewport.
   
   

4. Double-click the viewport to enter drawing edit mode. Enter Z, then End, and pick the opposite corners of the inner border to fit the drawing inside the viewport.
   
   

5. Repeat steps 2–4 to adjust the drawing content in each viewport. This completes the layout division.
