Issue:

As shown below, why can't the intersection of two lines be captured?

Causes:

  • The lines are not on the same plane, and the Z-axis coordinates of some graphics are not 0.


  • The Intersection snap mode is not turned on.

Solution:

  • Solution 1:
    Select the graphics and press Ctrl+1 to open the Properties panel, check the coordinate values of the z-axis of the graphics, if they are not in the same plane, modify them in the Properties panel to make them the same.
    Or click the menu Extension Express → Tools → Change Z Value of Coordinate to 0 (ZVALTO0 command), select the graphics that need to be converted, and change their Z coordinate to 0.
  • Solution 2:
    Click the menu Tools → Drafting Settings (the DSETTINGS command) and check the Intersection in the Object Snap tab.
