Issue:

There are four options for calculating model using properties. What do these options mean?

Solution:

  1. All in current: When there are Cut, Hole, or other Assembly features that change the model shape, the physical properties are calculated based on the current shape. The calculation of physical properties includes all parts and shapes under the assembly.
  2. All from origin: When there are Cut, Hole, or other Assembly features that change the model shape, these changes are ignored, and the physical properties are calculated based on the original shape. The calculation of physical properties includes all parts and shapes under the assembly.
  3. Only part in current: When there are Cut, Hole, or other Assembly features that change the model shape, the physical properties are calculated based on the current shape. The calculation of physical properties only includes all parts in the file and ignores shapes under the assembly.
  4. Only part from origin: When there are Cut, Hole, or other Assembly features that change the model shape, these changes are ignored, and the physical properties are calculated based on the original shape. The calculation of physical properties only includes all parts in the file and ignores shapes under the assembly.
