Issue: 

Demonstrate how to use a fence to batch trim lines in ZWCAD.

Solution:

  • For ZWCAD 2024 Official and previous versions:
    1. Execute the TRIM command, select the trim boundary, and then input F to enter Fence mode.
    2. Specify the vertexes of the fence to select the objects that need to be trimmed.

  • For ZWCAD 2024 SP and later versions:
    • Quick Mode
      1. Execute the TRIM command, input O (mode) to choose the trim mode, then input Q to choose the Quick trim mode, by default, it is in Quick mode.
      2. Specify the vertexes of the fence to select the objects that need to be trimmed, please make sure the fence crosses all the lines that need to be trimmed.

    • Standard/Enhanced Mode
      1. Execute the TRIM command, input O (mode) to choose the trim mode, then input S to choose the Standard trim mode, or input EX to choose the Enhanced mode.
      2. Select the trim boundary, then input F to enter Fence mode.
      3. Specify the vertexes of the fence to select the objects that need to be trimmed.
