In some notes or text, it is necessary to reference dimension values.
How can this be achieved?

Solution:

Using the text field function, dimension values can be linked to text to achieve dynamic synchronization.

  1. Click the menu Insert → Field (command FIELD).
    For multiline text, double-click to enter the text editor and click the     Field button.

  2. In the field window that pops up, click the Object type button and select the dimension.
    Choose     Measurement as the property.
    Modify the style in the     Format section until the Preview effect is satisfactory.
    Click     OK to generate the field value.

  3. After completion, the field will follow the dimension value.
    When the dimension value changes, regenerate the drawing to update the field value.
