Issue:

When executing commands such as OPEN/SAVE/SAVE AS in ZWCAD, the program may crash or freeze when the file dialog box appears.

Cause:

The issue is related to a WPS Office update released on July 25, 2026.
This WPS update may cause a conflict when the Windows file dialog box is called.
As a result, ZWCAD may crash or freeze when executing commands that open the file dialog box, such as OPEN and SAVE.
The same WPS update may also affect other applications.
WPS has released a newer version in which this issue has been fixed.

Solution1:Recommended Solution

Try the following methods in order. After each step, restart ZWCAD and check whether OPEN and SAVE work normally.

• Step1.
  1. Run ZWCAD as Administrator
  
  2.Restart ZWCAD.Execute OPEN or SAVE again and check whether the file dialog box can be opened normally.
  If the issue still occurs, continue with Step 2.
• Step2.
  1.Update WPS Office to the latest available version.
  If the issue still occurs after updating WPS, continue with Step 3.
• Step3.
  1.Download the BAT file from the link below.
     Fix system dialog crash issue_20260803.bat
  2.Right-click the BAT file and select Run as administrator.
  
  3.Follow the instructions in the command window and wait until the operation is completed.
  4.Restart ZWCAD.Execute OPEN or SAVE again and check whether the file dialog box can be opened normally.

Solution2:Replace ZwGetFileDlg.dll

This solution applies to:

• ZWCAD 2024 2.0 or later
• ZWCAD 2025
• ZWCAD 2026

Follow the steps below:

1. Right-click the ZWCAD shortcut and select Open file location to locate the ZWCAD installation directory.
   

   Note: For ZWCAD MFG, go up one folder level to locate the ZWCAD root installation directory.
   
   

2. Find ZwGetFileDlg.dll in the installation directory and copy it to another location as a backup.
   
   

3. Download the replacement ZwGetFileDlg.dll from the link below.
   ZwGetFileDlg.dll
   

4. Copy the downloaded ZwGetFileDlg.dll to the ZWCAD installation directory and replace the original file.
   
   
5. Restart ZWCAD and check whether OPEN and SAVE work normally.

Solution3:Workaround for Earlier ZWCAD Versions

This solution applies to:

• ZWCAD 2021
• ZWCAD 2022
• ZWCAD 2023ZWCAD 2024 versions earlier than 2.0

Follow the steps below:

1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and open Task Manager.
   Find wpscloudsvr.exe, which may also appear as a WPS cloud service related to account login or cloud storage.
   Right-click it and select Open file location.
   

2. In Task Manager, right-click wpscloudsvr.exe again and select End task.
   
   

3. In the opened folder, rename wpscloudsvr.exe.

   For example:

   wpscloudsvr.exe → 1wpscloudsvr.exe
   
   
   

4. Restart ZWCAD and check whether OPEN and SAVE work normally.

Additional Information：

• This issue is related to a compatibility conflict with WPS Office.
• First, try running ZWCAD as administrator.
• If the issue persists, update WPS Office and then run the provided BAT fix file if necessary.
