Issue:

How to use the Quick Calculator function to draw objects? For example, how to draw a line object that is 15% longer than "3.14"?

Solution:

  1. Execute the QUICKCALC command to pull out the QuickCalc palette.
  2. In the input box of the QuickCalc panel, input 3.14*(1+0.15), and press Enter to get the calculation result.
  3. Execute the LINE command, and specify the first point, when it prompts: Specify the next point, and go to the next step.
  4. In the QuickCalc palette, click the Paste Value to Command Line button, and then the calculation result will show in the command line.
  5. Move the cursor to define the direction of the line, then press Enter to finish drafting.

Note: Make sure to execute the drafting command before clicking the Paste Value to Command Line button, so that it can take effect.
