Issue: 

How to use layout templates in the following two scenarios?

Scenario one: The drawing is too large and runs very slowly, and when outputting the layout, after copying the drawing to a new DWG file, the process gets stuck at the step of copying the layout viewports.

Scenario two:When creating a drawing based on another architectural drawing, the architectural drawing is output as a layout, so applying the architectural layout to the current drawing is needed. 

Solution:

  1. Click  Insert → Layout → Layout from Template from the menu, or right-click on the Layout tab and select From Template.

  2. Select the template file to be imported.

  3. Select the layout you want to import template to, and click OK to complete the import.
