When multiple yearly licenses exist on the server (e.g., ZWCAD Professional 2020 and 2024), how to restrict some clients to use only 2020 licenses and others to use 2024 licenses?

Solution:

  1. Open the zwflex.opt file in the ZWSOFT Network License Manager installation directory with notepad.
  2. ZWCAD licenses include version information.
    For example, ZWCAD Professional 2020 uses version 20.0.
  3. Add the version information to license restrictions to control which license version clients can access.
  4. As shown in the image, add :VERSION=*** to the restriction rule to limit the license version.
  5. The same method applies to other ZWCAD yearly license versions.
