★Why can't ZWCAD open excel, and prompts "Failed to launch server application"

Issue:

Sometimes when double-clicking an OLE table object, ZWCAD fails to open Excel and prompts "Failed to launch server application”.

Why and how to solve?

Cause:

This is usually not a ZWCAD problem.

It can be caused by scenarios like incomplete MS Office modules, Office version incompatibility, Registry information loss or errors, etc.

Solution:

Reinstall MS Office.

Please make sure to use the official installation package. Third-party packages may contain incomplete modules, or cause Registry errors.

If you run 64-bit ZWCAD, please install 64-bit MS Office.
