Issue: 

The viewport border is typically a solid line. How can it be changed to a dashed line as shown in the example?

Solution:

  1. A rectangular border is drawn in the layout using the Rectangle command (or use the REC command).

  2. The rectangle's linetype is changed to the desired style, e.g., dashed.

  3. Enter the MV shortcut, select the Entity option, press Enter, and then select the rectangle as prompted.


  4. The rectangle becomes a viewport. Switching its linetype still produces different display effects.
