Solution:

Imported STL files cannot be directly used to create a profile in CAM. Please follow these steps:

  1. First scenario:
    In 3D CAD, lines can be extracted using Point Cloud→Trace Sharp Edge, which can then be used to create features in CAM machining, such as creating machining boundaries (profile).

  2. Second scenario:
    Machining boundaries can also be created by directly drawing sketches in CAM.
