Issue:
When using the File Compare function, it displays all the differences between the two drawings. However, some differences may not be relevant and you may want to focus on specific differences while hiding others.
For example, in the image below, the differences in the two dimension labels are what you need to pay attention to, while the difference at location 1 does not need to be displayed.
Solution:
- Click on the menu item Express → Tools → File Compare(FCMP command), and select the drawings you want to compare.
- Click on the Hide Differences option on the File Compare context tab, and select the differences you don't need to focus on.
- After pressing the Space bar or Enter key to confirm, the differences you don't want to display will be closed, and the command bar will indicate that 1 object has been hidden. At this point, only the differential points related to the required dimension annotations will be displayed on the drawing.
- If you need to restore the hidden differences, click the Unhide Differences button, select Yes, and you will be able to restore all hidden differences.
