Issue:

When opening ZWCAD, a prompt appears: "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." As shown in the image below.

Causes:

The issue occurs because the operating system has no default email program set for handling email actions.

Solution:

Method 1:

  1. Press Win+I to open Windows Settings.
  2. Go to Apps.
  3. Under Default apps, set a default email app (Mail or other installed email software).

Method 2:

  1. Press Win+I to open Windows Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy & security.
  3. Go to App permissions, select Email, and uncheck Email access. Restart the computer and check if the issue still occurs.
