Issue:

When copying text from one DWG file to another in ZWCAD, the font changes. Why does this happen?

The font used in the original DWG file is shown below:

Causes:

Both DWG files contain text styles with the same name, but the fonts assigned to these text styles differ between the two files.

Solution:

  1. Select the changed text in the new file, press CTRL+1 to open the Properties panel, and check the name of the text style.

  2. Click the Tool → Text Style to open the Text Style Manager.

  3. Select the original text style, and click Rename to change its name.
    This will prevent style conflicts when copying graphics between drawings.
