Issue:

I have installed the multilingual version of ZWCAD.
When I double-click a DWG file, it opens in the English version (or another language version) by default.
How can I set a specific language version as the default when opening DWG files?

Solution:

This can be resolved by modifying the Windows Registry.

  1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type regedit, and click OK to open the Registry Editor.
  2. Navigate to the following path:
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZWSOFT\ZWCADM\2026

  3. Select the 2026 folder, and in the right panel, double-click the CurVer value to modify it.

  4. In the Edit String dialog, change the Value data to the language code you want to set as the default (e.g., en-US for English), then click OK.

    The language codes are as follows:
