Issue:
When opening certain drawings, why do OLE objects fail to display correctly and only show a bounding box?
Solution:
Method 1: The link to the inserted OLE object may be lost during file transfer.
- Enter OLELINKS in the command line and press Enter.
- Select the OLE object with the lost link and click Update Now.
- If you need to replace the link, click the Change Source button below.
Method 2: The system variable OLEHIDE controls the visibility and printing of OLE objects.
- Enter OLEHIDE in the command line and press Enter.
- Set the value to 0 to ensure OLE objects are displayed.
