How to copy and paste objects between drawings?
Solution:
- Method 1:
After selecting the objects, press Ctrl+C to copy them, and press Ctrl+V to paste them in another drawing, and the insertion point is on the lower left corner of the objects. - Method 2:
Use Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+V to conduct Copy with Base Point.
After selecting the object, press Ctrl+Shift+C to copy (or find Copy with Base Point in the right-click menu), specify the base point according to the prompts, and when pasting on another drawing, the insertion point will be the the base point set, so that the position of the object can be accurately located. - Method 3:
Use Ctrl+C and Paste to Original Coordinates.
After selecting the object, press Ctrl+C to copy, right-click on another drawing and select Paste to Original Coordinates, after pasting, the coordinates of the object will remain identical to those in the original drawing. - Method 4:
Use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+Shift+V to conduct Paste as Block.
After selecting the object, press Ctrl+C to copy, and press Ctrl+Shift+V to paste it on another drawing, or right-click then select Paste as Block. The object will automatically become a whole block after pasting.
