★ZWCAD fails to start, and prompts "…You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Issue:

ZWCAD cannot be started, and prompts: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item", as shown in the figure below.

Causes:

Access to the software installation path is restricted.

Check the disk properties permissions as shown below. Insufficient permissions are assigned.

Solution:

1. Select the disk, right-click → Properties → Security, click the Edit button, and set the permission to full control.
   
2. If the above settings do not take effect, uninstall the software and reinstall it to another disk.
